  • Aprilia - Founded in 1945 in Noale by 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗼 as a bicycle factory, it was his son Ivano, in charge since 1968, transformed it into a cutting-edge motorcycle company.
  • Benelli - Six brothers for motorcycles: in 1911, the Benelli brothers opened a mechanical workshop in Pesaro, purchased for them by their mother, the first step that would soon lead them to build successful mopeds and motorcycles.
  • Ducati - 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗶 𝗗𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶 founded Ducati in 19 26 to produce radios and electrical appliances, but it was in 1946 that the turning point came: with the small 48cc Cucciolo, Ducati began its history in the world of motorcycles.
  • Moto Guzzi - In Genoa, in 1921, shipowner Emanuele Vittorio Parodi, his son Giorgio and Carlo Guigini founded the company, with its production headquarters in Mandello del Lario. This is where Guzzi motorcycles are still manufactured today.
  • MV Agusta - Meccanica Verghera Agusta was founded in 1945 as a division of the older Agusta SpA, an aeronautical company founded in 1907 by 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮.
  • Piaggio - The company was founded in 1884 by Rinaldo Piaggino to manufacture trains and aeroplanes, but everything changed in 1946: the Vespa, the company's first motorbike, was unveiled, and a legend was born.
  • Moto Morini - Founded in 1937 in Bologna by Alberto Morini, the company first focused on building engines and motorised tricycles, before launching into motorcycles in 1946 with the T125, which went on to win acclaim and sporting trophies.
  • Betamotor - Founded in 1904 in Florence by Giuppino Bianchi, it entered the motorcycle industry in 1948. Since then, the company has remained in the hands of the same family that founded it.
  • Fantic Motor - In 1968, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶 and Henry Keppel broke away from Garelli and founded a company that produced mini-bikes, go-karts and enduro bikes for the US: Fantic Motor was born in Barzago.
